Nick Didlick demonstrates video, time-lapse abilities of Nikon 1 V1

Vancouver, Canada-based photographer Nick Didlick has recently posted two short movies showcasing the video and time-lapse capabilities of the Nikon 1 V1 camera. Each is well worth a look, both for what Didlick has captured and for the ethereal effect he has given each video in post-production.

Nothing like starting off the weekend with some gorgeous footage of the City of Lights. This video comes courtesy of motion time lapse and stop motion photographer and is an awesome example of exactly those two things. Combining three thousand night shots and day shots with different landmarks and locations and a slew of different time lapse techniques really brings out a new side of the beautiful French capital.

Not many people are able to travel around the globe and play with photography and video. In this trip to China, Ryan Emond puts together some shots of a few beautiful scenes from China. For the shoot, he used both a Nikon D700 and a 5D Mark III along with some tools from Dynamic Perception to help with camera movement.
