I have been playing around with this device for only a month and already am becoming endeared to the ability to create time-lapse films in 1080p video quality.
As I travel often, and my frequent flyer status allows me to often choose a window seat, I have taken up the hobby of shooting time-lapse while on the plane. The subject matter is ...

San Francisco-based indie band made this creative music video for their song “Analog or Digital” using both time-lapes and stop-motion techniques. They spent a day on at Ocean Beach in SF, shooting the entire video in one take as a series of 3,060 individual photographs. The fast playback makes the world around them pass in time-lapse, while their synchronized movements cause them to move around like stop-motion claymation figures. It’s definitely not an easy feat — they had to play the song slowed ... Time-Lapse Stop-Motion Music Video by Indie Band Wildlife ControlCINEMA5D

Tweet I had the pleasure to meet Randy Halverson (who goes by the name DakotaLapse) at the chronos festival where he won Best Overall and Audience Choice. When you watch this, you’ll know why! Photographer Randy Halverson just won an award for this amazing video that he created without any digital gimmicks or special effects -- it's all natural, seen through his camera's lens. Bear McCreary, who wrote the musical score for Battlestar Galactica, liked Halverson's works so much that he created an original score for this video.
Here's what the photographer says about this piece:
What you see is real, but you can't see it this way with the naked eye. It is the result of 20-30 second exposures, ...
