Ok, I'm looking for a telezoom lens... I was thinking about a 70-400 g but i don't think to need that, i don't care about animals or bird, i just wanna do portrait and get closer to my family people. I'm looking now for the series 70-200 and i'm intereste in Tamron one, but it has a slow AF instead of the sigma and sony one's, but i found the Tamron one at ahlf a price... So, the tamron is really so slow? I've searched youtube and vimeo for video done with that to see the af speed, but i found nothing... ... A55 + 70-200 f2.8 tamron vs sigma vs sony

It is the oldest of the sigma 70-200's but still a very good lens.

I had a back to back comparison for the Sigma and Tamron 70-200 f/2.8 lens. The Tamron looks so much better. I am totaly speechless. Seeing there are about 1000 posts on backfocus issues on the D7K, i thought I would test mine as well. I haven't noticed an issue...i do get the odd soft shot, but I put that down to technique more than anything. (had the same odd soft shot with my D80, but much less on the D7K)
So here are my results
Taken at maximum zoom (75mm and 200mm respectively), as close as i could get to fill the frame with the chart, and at 2.8 so this would give me minimum dof.
Tripod mounted, timer released with exposure ... Backfocus Results on my D7k with Tamron 28-75 and Sigma 70-200
